The Role
In this role, you will:
- Implement and support automated environment provisioning and container solutions with Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services
- Design and implement automated infrastructure solutions for our product platform
- Design and implement application monitoring and alerting solutions to get issues to the right people at the right time
- Remediate issues that impact the health and performance of our development, testing, and production systems and infrastructure
- Diagnose and isolate issues at all layers of the stack, whether it be code or infrastructure, during development and in production
- Design and implementation of automated code platform deployment solutions
- Mentor and guide other best practices and provide thought leadership for the DevOps practice
What you bring:
- 8+ years' experience in a DevOps, SRE, or IT Operations position
- 2+ years’ experience implementing and supporting solutions with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services; preferable experience with the following
- AKS & ACR
- Traffic Manager, Application Gateway
- Virtual Networking & VNET Peering
- Azure VPN Configuration
- Application Insights
- SQL Server
- 3+ years’ experience developing with scripting languages, preferably Microsoft Powershell
- 2+ years' experience writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures
- 2+ years' experience developing in .NET and C#
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Azure ARM & Terraform desired state configuration.
- Deep understanding of networking configuration as it relates to platform reliability
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with product, operations, and development teams
- Demonstrated ability to context switch while still delivering on commitments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and environments
- Knowledge of full stack monitoring concepts and tooling from code to system resources
- Experience with containerization design concepts and tooling
