Great Question is hiring our first Business Development Representatives to help us on our mission to democratize user research - helping companies talk to their customers more to ensure they build software that people want!
We're a well-funded seed-stage startup, backed by Y Combinator and Funders Club, looking for a experienced Business Development Representatives to join our high performing, fast-paced, and fully remote team.
This is a huge opportunity to get in early, work with an innovative product our customers love, and shape the future of how teams build software through research.
This is a remote role open to anyone able to work within American timezones.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone with proven experience in a Business Development role, preferably for an SMB or enterprise-grade SaaS.
You’ll need the following skillsets to be successful in this role:
  • 1+ year of outbound sales experience (Sales Development Representative experience works too!) with a quota in a SaaS environment - including cold calling & cold emailing
  • Self-driven & competitive (you don’t need anyone to motivate you)
  • Resourceful - you can run through walls to find a way to achieve your goals
  • Incredible self-confidence (you have zero doubt you’ll hit quota)
  • Impeccable time management and attention to detail
  • Experience using a CRM like Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Experience managing outbound campaigns from list building, to outreach (call + email), CRM maintenance & consistent follow-up
  • Hungry to grow into full-cycle sales or leadership
As a fully remote team, we're looking for hands-on, experienced candidates who are able to focus on the work and get it done.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll build upon our initial sales playbook to identify potential customers, develop outbound strategies, conduct outreach campaigns, and help convert prospects into customers.
You'll contact and qualify leads, then work closely with the CEO who will handle product demos and the sales process. Soon, you will be handing off to Account Executives, you have the potential to grow into that new role based on your performance in this one.
This team is in an exciting growth period as we focus on building out our sales organization from scratch, and this is our #1 hire right now. 
You’ll be joining a small team and will help build out our team processes and culture and have a direct impact on the company’s maturity and success. So far, we've succeeded by putting the customer first, and we see each interaction as an opportunity to continuously improve the customer experience.
