Creative/Digital Project Manager

Job Summary
Kadeau is seeking a personable, detail-oriented project manager to guide our team in successfully delivering on projects, as well as provide a level of customer service and communication that delights our clients throughout the process. You will play an integral role in client management as you coordinate with our team of designers, developers, and strategists to produce top-notch creative and digital solutions. We expect that your contributions will significantly “up our game”, both in how the team functions and in the client’s experience with us.
This is a US-based, remote position, with day-to-day duties performed from home. Travel to client locations may occasionally be required.
This is a contract is for 20 hours/week, although we expect the position could grow into a full-time role within the next year.
Responsibilities and Duties
Primary responsibilities include mapping out timelines and budgets for our larger branding and web design projects, ensuring that our team is hitting deadlines, and coordinating the completion of day-to-day requests that we receive from our clients with on-going contracts.
Client relations is a core element of this role, as you will keep clients informed on project status and milestones, serve as a key support person to our CEO and team, and field incoming communications in a timely manner.
Other responsibilities include:
- Entering and assigning tasks in our project management software (Asana)
- Monitoring and communicating progress both internally and with clients
- Facilitating the work of our designers, developers, and strategists
- Entering and managing website content, both for kadeau.co and for clients
- Training clients on their new content management system (CMS)
- Organizing and improving our project management systems and processes
- Reviewing design and development work for accuracy
- Providing weekly status updates at our weekly team standup
- Being mostly available during normal working hours (9-5 EST)
- Coordinating with our CEO to advance strategic internal initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and also a detail-oriented planner who knows how to develop realistic and effective project timelines. Other qualifications include:
- 3-5 years prior experience in a project manager role
- Prior experience working in a digital and/or creative agency desired but not required
- Willingness to tackle major initiatives as well as smaller, day-to-day tasks
Compensation
This is a contract role starting at $30/hr.
