What You'll Do
Shogun is looking for a Sales Manager to coach our Account Executive team to build and implement an effective sales pipeline strategy. Through using a variety of tools and data points, you strive to drive adoption of our enterprise tier products and provide an excellent sales experience.
You have a customer-focused mindset and are able to think strategically and effectively to adjust your approach to meet the needs of our customers. As an individual, you are a results-oriented, empathetic leader, driven to help your team and the company exceed goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and train an Account Executive team
  • Work closely with your direct reports to build pipeline and achieve quota
  • Qualify new opportunities while working to uncover the customers' needs
  • Assist the sales team with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Provide weekly department performance reporting to share with senior leadership
  • Experiment with customer targeting, messaging, and sales processes
  • Analyze sales data and recommend new outreach strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing and Product teams to build out prospecting campaign messaging
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in a full-cycle Account Executive role
  • 2+ years of Account Executive management experience, preferably in ecommerce or B2B SaaS, startup environment 
  • Experience building and writing call scripts and emails
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and prospects
  • Experience using CRM, Pipeline Management, and Analytic tools 
  • Motivated and inspired to coach, enable, and mentor selling professionals
