- Working with the team to build and test automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning from the ground up
- Handle code deployments in all new environments
- Recommend and help implement automation where we can automate such as
- SSL certificate renewals
- Staging and production deployments with containers
- Create pipelines for running automated QA tests that our QA engineer canwork with
- Attending weekly sprint meetings and calls with the team
- Owning the infrastructure, being on call for problems
- Sharing knowledge with the team to help educate others
- Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timelyexecution
- Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
Qualifications
- Can use or be willing to learn Terraform to build across multiple cloud providers ifnecessary
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps
- A solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and what is necessary for scalingglobally (including but not limited to DNS, Docker, SSL Certificates, loadbalancing/real-world scaling)
- Can show examples of your automated infrastructure and DevOps skills in the real world
- Have worked in a scrum/agile team and are comfortable working within a sprint cycle
- Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Ideally, you have previously worked as a DevOps engineer at a senior level within a software engineering team
