As our Senior Associate, Consumer Insights you will be a key part of the larger Redesign Health marketing organization, developing original research to validate and hone new business ideas before we launch them. The ideal candidate is a creative, curious, collaborative individual who is excited to help us in our mission to improve healthcare
You will report to our Director of Consumer Insights at our New York City headquarters or remotely.
What you’ll do:
  • Support the design and execution of innovative quantitative and qualitative research to support the objectives of Redesign Health and our portfolio companies
  • Work across all stages of the research cycle from early exploratory through optimization of launched businesses
  • Expresses a sense of versatility- able to be autonomous on solo projects and highly collaborative on larger team assignments
  • Be an active participant in the development of strong synthesis at the end of every study
  • Work collaboratively with the insights team on projects like the quarterly newsletter, research library, and overall research operations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Product Marketing, New Ventures, etc.) and build strong relationships with our portfolio companies
  • Lead project management, survey/interview guide writing, survey programming, sample management/distributing invites, data analysis and interpretation (primary or secondary), creative data storytelling, and report development. Gather business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders; build and iterate on a detailed research plan and timelines.
What you’ll need:
  • Background
    • 3-4 years of consumer insights research or market research experience with significant innovation or new product development experience
    • Experience designing quantitative surveys, running qualitative research sprints, usability studies, concept testing, and prototype testing
    • Ability to lead and support end to end qualitative and/or quantitative research projects from recruiting, interviewing, and synthesis
    • Exposure to or experience in some or all of the following: Qualitative (in-depth interviews, focus groups), quantitative and user-centered research methods (e.g., interviewing, ethnography, surveys, co-design, concept-testing, programming etc.)
    • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
    • Experience in managing/synthesizing syndicated and primary consumer research
