Upright Labs builds multichannel ecommerce software for secondhand retailers. We make it really easy for our clients to manage inventory and sell online, everywhere. Our software processes thousands of items each day and has helped retailers sell millions in inventory each week. Paired with our software, our services business helped start, scale, and streamline e-commerce businesses. 
Account Executive 
The Upright Labs Account Executive is responsible for taking a lead through the full sales cycle from initial conversation to contract close. In this role, you will be tasked with a combination of upsells for existing clients and finding new business. 
This role will primarily serve the services branch of Upright Labs; they will use consultative selling to qualify leads for sustainability contracts, e-commerce buildouts, operational audits, and more of the like. Up to this point, service sales have been totally organic; the service side of our business has seen tremendous growth, and has the potential to expand well beyond the borders it’s currently existing in.
As an Account Executive, not only will you work closely with potential clients during the sales process, but you will also coordinate with our Service and Customer Success teams to ensure potential clients have the experience they were looking for from the sales process. 
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Qualify and engage potential customers through cold email, phone call, and LinkedIn outreach 
  • Prospect potential customers through self-generated research and lead lists
  • Identify current clients who may be primed for a service upsell
  • Document client communication in CRM 
  • Maintain clear and consistent follow-up outreach cadence 
  • Understand clients' needs and use consultative selling techniques while selling the services available
  • Work with the Service team to understand their product and to increase close rate
  • Build relationships with clients who may have no interest in services for future upsells 
  • Occasionally travel to conferences or clients onsite. ~15% travel 
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years in sales
  • Someone who is excited about the full cycle process and building client relationships from A to Z
  • Prioritizes calling vs. sending an email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a desire to be a part of a remote work culture 
  • Resiliency in the face of rejection
  • A desire to grow professionally in sales
Nice to Haves: 
  • A background in eCommerce, supply chain, or operations
