Launch Manager

As hampr's Market Launch Manager you will play a key role in leading our market launches and operations support across all markets. You will help build and iterate on our market launch playbook, and ensure market launches are executed successfully using our core KPIs and goals. You will be responsible for identifying unique market opportunities for brand or BD partnerships, local press and local marketing tactics and promotions. You will build an internal team that will support local markets by streamlining processes that can be managed remotely. We expect this role to regularly travel to both new markets and existing markets. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead a team to support and manage new market launches and expansion
- Develop and optimize the market launch playbook and execute it consistently
- Conceive, develop and test innovative marketing tactics to drive growth
- Build tools and processes to improve market launches excellence and efficiency
- Travel to local markets to support market launches and in-person training as needed
- Identify partnership, promotional and publicity opportunities unique to the local markets
- Maintaining KPIs on a market-by-market basis and strategize accordingly
- Working cross-functionally with all departments
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience with a marketplace business (ideally, experience in a fast-paced environment - consulting, startup, VC, etc.)
- Previous experience managing a hyper-local business (understanding the nuance of local markets and how to generate growth at the zipcode level)
- Top-notch attention to detail and organization
- Self-motivated and data-driven thinker
- Ability to project manage
- Ability to shift focuses and iteratively improve on the fly
- Scrappy and willing to get your hands dirty
- Creative in the conception of innovative marketing tactics to drive growth
