The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate User Experience Researcher and Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a UX Researcher and Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations through various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Your insights will play a crucial role in improving the overall user experience of our clients’ products and services. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and excellent communication skills. Experience in eCommerce is required. 
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct user research, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies to gather valuable insights on user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Analyze research data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for improving product usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, delivery managers, and developers, to ensure research findings are incorporated into the product development process.
  • Generate personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design deliverables to aid in understanding user needs and guiding design decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze user feedback, product metrics, and user behavior data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX research and design.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and foster a culture of empathy and user advocacy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research techniques, tools, and trends, and proactively propose innovative approaches to improve the research process.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define research objectives and develop research plans aligned with business goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) working as a UX researcher or similar role, conducting user research for digital products or services.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with user research and prototyping tools, such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, UsabilityHub, etc.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex research findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for advocating for the user.
  • Experience working in eCommerce 
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
  • Experience in the software development or technology industry.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and data storytelling techniques.
  • Experience in conducting international or cross-cultural user research.
  • Strong presentation skills
