Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct sales prospecting activities and set appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in sales prospecting and appointment setting, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to generate high-quality leads. The Business Development Manager will be rewarded with a competitive base salary and a generous commission structure for each appointment set.

Responsibilities:

Conduct proactive sales prospecting activities, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation, to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
Qualify leads and determine their potential for conversion to appointments.
Set appointments for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handover and proper documentation of the appointment details.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and appointment activities in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand their requirements and provide them with relevant details about each appointment.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of prospecting strategies and adjust them as necessary to achieve targets.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for appointments set.
Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to grow relationships, prioritize the opportunities and connect with more decision-makers.

Requirements:

Proven track record of success in sales prospecting and appointment setting, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to secure appointments with key decision-makers.
Solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales-related software tools.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Fluent English.
Ability to work flexible hours as prospects will be in various time zones around the world.
