Surge Forward is looking for smart, self-motivated, experienced, senior-level consultants who enjoy the freedom of telecommuting and flexible schedules, to work as long-term, consistent (40 hrs/week) independent contractors on a variety of software development projects.
REQUIRED:
Must-have skills: Angular 7, HTML5, Typescript, State Management, Service Lifecycle, Components/Directives. Production experience and current work experience (1-2 years) with Angular 2+ required.
At this stage of the project, the client is looking for candidates who have a proven track record in Angular 2+ (they're currently on Angular 7) and can hit the ground running from day one. Practical experience in Typescript required.
The technical interviews cover the following:
Understand the full workings of the component api and lifecycle hooksUnderstand how dependency injection works with Angular and recommend patterns for various situationsSignificant experience with TypescriptUnderstand how and why to create interfacesGood understanding of generics and significant experience using themUnderstand how and why decorators workUnderstand template and reactive formsSolid understanding and experience with ngrx for state managementSolid experience with unit testing angular applicationsGood understanding of Karma and how it works
Position requirements:Must work on a client-provided laptop (likely a PC)Must work Eastern time zone - 9:00am-5:00pmMust be a US or Canadian citizen living onshore only, no shipping devices overseas or outside the US/Canada.
