Clipboard Health (YC W17) is a marketplace that connects healthcare facilities with nurses in their area. We are on a mission to improve patient care through our service to our clients: giving nurses flexible schedules, and healthcare facilities reliable staff. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of our healthcare marketplace compliance in accordance with state and federal statutory and regulatory requirements and Clipboard Health policies and procedures. The Nurse Compliance Manager will support our nurse recruitment team, nurse onboarding team, customer success team, human resources, and legal department to ensure prompt and accurate responses are provided, while creating policies and procedures to improve efficiencies. 
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and respond to internal inquiries regarding credentials, experience and background checks that may affect their eligibility to utilize the platform and pick up shifts at our partnering facilities.
  • Manage incidents to ensure compliant responses and reporting as necessary
  • Monitor industry best practices and recommendations for policy and procedure updates
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with regulators
  • Effectively communicate and interact with various internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Create and maintain processes

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Proven history managing regulatory issues
  • Certified RN (or equivalent) a plus but not required
