Data Migration Specialist (Remote)

We are looking for a migration expert that has experience in migrating complex legacy applications databases into modern database designs, migration includes data migration, tables consolidations, field mapping, and writing macros (scripts) for complex calculations.
Technical Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data migration between different database engines especially SQL Server and MySQL.
- Proven experience of writing scripts and macros to map transferred data.
- Experience in PHP and Laravel database structure to be able to understand the logic behind some fields and use the logics for data mapping.
- Experience in logging and auditing of migration issues.
- Solid understanding of database design and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Language Queries.
- Expert in node.js or Python scripting languages.
- Experience with writing migration templates.
- Experience with MySQL profiling and query optimization.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work EDT business hours. 8am - 5pm New York time.
- Must be able to speak and write fluent English. Your first interview will be a video call via Zoom

Job Details
- This position is an hourly contract position
- We expect this role to be mostly full-time hours for the duration of the project
