Your key responsibilities 
  • As a Web Software Engineer in our agile global robotics team you will get the chance to develop cloud-native, complex medical software applications for the preoperative planning of robotics-assisted orthopedic surgeries. 
  • Your main area of responsibility will be the conceptual design and development of highly secure and scalable web applications and services to holistically optimize business processes, from initiation of the order by the customer to the final transmission of the data to the robot. 
  • You will be working closely with local and international interface departments such as Operations, Systems Engineering, Quality and Testing, in order to launch a new product that further improves patient care.  
  • At Stryker, your professional development can take one of several directions. Depending on your interests we offer you not only the classic specialist career, but also further development opportunities towards (agile) project management in various software product areas (robotics, navigation, sports medicine). 
  • It would be possible to work 80-90% from home.
What are we looking for? 
  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering or other comparable fields. 
  • Ideally, you have already gained some professional experience as software engineer in the field of cloud-based product development. 
  • At best you have knowledge about backend web development with .NET Core, Python, Docker, Kubernetes with Azure or a similar softwaredevelopment stack. 
  • You demonstrate a high level of commitment, user & customer orientation paired with a solution-oriented and structure approach to your work. 
  • You are fluent in English and have ideally a good knowledge of German. 
  • We are also happy to give ambitious graduates with the appropriate practical experience a chance!
