Description:
The Web Developer will be responsible for building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
The Web Developer will be passionate about developing a robust website and web applications that push web technologies right to the very edge of what’s possible; from both the server-side, front-end and design.
Your role will be to build engaging online experiences, powered by a robust yet flexible content management system that can be easily used in house by other members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Front-end and back-end development of website and web applications
- Produce and review high quality clean code. Utilize a wide range of web technologies surrounding PHP like wordpress
- Develop, update and maintain multiple responsive websites and web applications
- Optimize websites design and performance across a variety of modern devices
- Create banners, web pages and mobile applications based on designs provided by our Creative Lead.
- Translate wireframes and mock-ups into fully functioning websites and landing pages
- Review project objectives and determine best technology for implementation.
- Implement best practice standards for development and deployment of code and applications.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Attend project meetings and ensure user experience best practices are front of mind
- Supporting team members to achieve deadlines
- Create banners, web pages and mobile applications based on designs provided by our designer.
- Understanding and implementation of website data security and encryption.
Experience and Knowledge
- Interest on DLT/Blockchain Technologies
- Likes to solve challenging problems.
- Minimum 3 years Web Development experience.
- Experience in Implementing new functionalities
- Experience of development of new projects and prototypes
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles on all devices
- Good understanding of fundamental UX & UI principles
- Able to easily implement designs from our designer via Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator) files.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills
- SEO Marketing skillsKnowledge and experience with Cloud Computing Services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc)
Skills
Must have:
- Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
- Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- RESTful Services
- Web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, ISS, etc
- Familiar with JavaScript Libraries (jQuery, Vue, Angular)
- Knowledge of git, branching, continuous integration.
- Good understanding of fundamental UX & UI principles
Desirable:
- CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
- JavaScript frameworks like vue, AngularJS, React, or Ember, etc.,
- or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
- Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js
- Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
- AJAX
- Server-side languages like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, and .Net
- Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Frameworks related to their server-side language of choice like: Express.js, Ruby on Rails, CakePHP, etc.
- Experience with WordPress ecosystem, themes and plugins
