Keeeb, an early stage technology startup, is unleashing enterprise intelligence at knowledge-centric companies across the world. Our Keeeb Intelligence Platform (IP) provides Collection and Curation tools for Knowledge Producers (researchers, analysts), and Discovery, Consumption, and Sharing tools for Knowledge Consumers (line of business decision makers). Keeeb IP promotes a culture of sharing at large enterprises, connecting knowledge workers to new knowledge to serve emergent needs.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to establish Quality Best Practices, primarily focused on exploratory and automated testing of our cloud-based web and mobile UIs.  QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) This QA engineer must be capable of leading contract-based teams to support the company's present high innovation curve.
Our ideal candidate has early stage startup experience, is a proven leader, and demonstrates exceptional communication skills. This is a challenging but rewarding hands-on opportunity for you to directly exercise tests, make tool acquisition decisions, establish processes with the development team, and lead contract teams. Yes, it's an early stage startup - you must wear lots of hats!
Location and Work Environment
This is a remote (home-based) position working with a global, virtual employee environment.Candidates must be based in Massachusetts and available for period small team face-to-face meetings. Occasional customer or global internal travel for corporate meetings possible.
Responsibilities
    Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processesto meet client needs Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Monitor debugging process results Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
    3-5 years startup experience with cloud-based software  Exceptional communication skills  Strong knowledge and confidence establishing software QA methodologies, acquiring tools, and implementing strategy and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and cases Hands-on experience with automated testing tools 2 years search engine experience.  Knowledge of Elasticsearch a plus. Exposure to Python, HTML, Angular, JavaScript, and Typescript Experience with Jira, Sentry, and Selenium Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
