Job description
A U.S. based company developing a variety of fintech applications related to U.S. Trust based products, cross border payments and remittances is looking for a Front-End UI/UX Developer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with multiple teams to build new and improve existing systems. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:
Overhaul user interfaces to optimize for speed and ease of use.
Ensure customer service is provided in a timely fashion.
Follow best practices for development.
Assist in the test strategy and execution of master test plan.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines as assigned.
Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams.
Research new technologies and propose solutions to user needs.
Identify UI problems and bugs and devise elegant solutions.
Job Requirements:
Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent experience 
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
Fluent in verbal and written English
Understanding of how to interact with web services.
Understanding of Azure is preferred but not required.
Fluency in a variety of development frameworks and languages such as Vue, React, Bootstrap, JQuery, etc.
Understanding of both mobile and desktop design principles
Can run unit test and debugging procedures.
Comfortable interfacing and participating in Scrum exercises.
Experience with XML, JSON
 Preferred Extensive experience in:
HTML5
CSS3
CSS Media Queries
Responsive Design
Javascript
AJAX
JQuery UI
Git – source control
 
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of industry standard development practices: source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking, and QA.
Exposure to post-launch on-going product development and delivery.
Proven experience with development and support of high traffic/transactional applications.
Demonstrated experience using technical practices such as writing clean and testable code.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
