KioskBuddy is an app that transforms a tablet into a self-service ordering kiosk, letting customers place orders all on their own and freeing up employees for higher-impact tasks. That’s where you come in…We’re a small, fast-growing startup looking to add a key member to our team of 4! 🙂 You’ll play a huge role in implementing new features in KioskBuddy, and you’ll see the direct impact of it - the work you’ll be doing will be used by millions of users.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be analyzing customer feedback, pitching product ideas, and building them into KioskBuddy
- You’ll be responsible for not just writing the code, but also the design, testing, and documentation of everything you build
- You’ll be participating in code reviews, of both your code and others to keep our standards high
- You’ll be debugging production-related issues, working closely with our customer support team to fix bugs
- You’ll work on implementing new integrations and enhancing existing integrations with third-party payment processing APIs like Square, Stripe, and more
- You’ll also be investigating performance improvements throughout our entire product (app, web dashboard, backend, etc)
What we’re looking for
- A highly autonomous, self-sufficient worker that also enjoys collaborating on projects
- Ambitious people, with a strong willingness to learn new tech (we love side projects!)
- Experience with mobile app development (mostly React Native, but we do work in native iOS and Android for stuff like payment processing hardware)
- Experience with web development (React, Vue.js, Node.js)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience participating in code reviews and providing effective feedback
- Experience working remotely
