Lead QA EngineerThe Lead QA Engineer role is responsible for leading the planning, development, execution, and reporting of tests for complex systems.  This role also performs a wide range of test activities including writing automation scripts, regression tests for web and mobile applications in a fast-paced agile environment. As part of a growing company, the best candidate will be a self-starter with an innovative mindset and excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering skills.Description of Duties• Supervise, mentor and facilitate career growth within the QA team• Decompose large projects into work for other QA team members• Provide technical guidance and follow-up on QA projects• Review requirements, write test scripts/scenarios, and perform test analysis• Coordinate and execute integration, functional, system, regression and user-acceptance testing of web and mobile applications• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and procedures (manual and automated)• Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, changes• Define stories and their acceptance criteria to know if they satisfy customer requirements• Create and maintain defect logs during test cycles; manage prioritization of defects with the business and development team • Estimate and scope work for sprints/projects• Work closely with Product Management, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the highest quality software is delivered on time in a fast-paced environment• Communicate and act on risks to project stakeholders• Proactively troubleshoot to replicate, identify and resolve issues with the team.• Review logs & backend to help to identify the root cause of the issues identified• Coordinate with business users to plan and execute user acceptance testing• Identify and resolve test environment issues• Works closely with and performs other related duties as assigned or requested by his/her supervisorCandidates must possess the right to work in the United States, Genius Avenue does not sponsor any visa applications for this position.
